To fight the Glutton, you will need to aim for its weak points, which are the glowing nodes on its legs. Once you break all three, the Glutton will fall over and expose its head. Shoot the head to kill it quickly. Be careful while fighting as other zombies in the area may join in potentially making it difficult. Other than this, be sure not to let the Glutton get close, as it does a stomp that sends a shockwave out that damages you.

You can make stronger ammunition as you progress through the game. Changing ammo types in Once Human will improve both weapon damage and Psi Intensity by a small but significant amount. More advanced ammo like Blasting and Disintegrating variants offer more bonuses, like dealing increased damage to burning enemies or gaining more Psi Intensity when triggering Shock.
Despite the potential infinite ammo of a crossbow, the weapon reloads very slowly and isn't ideal when dealing with the bigger enemies found throughout the world. Bullets shot from guns can't be picked up, but still offer a much higher damage per second output than the crossbow and many melee weapons. The first step in crafting a gun is to go into the Crafting tree of the Memetics menu and pick the Essential Tools then Gear Workbench upgrades . The second upgrade will give players the ability to build the Gear Workbench, where guns are actually crafted. By interacting with a Gear Workbench, players can choose what kind of gun they want to craft and what tier to craft. Higher-tier guns will require rarer materials but will deal higher base damage.
