Manage your account
- You may want to change your password for security reasons, or you may have forgotten your password and you want to reset it.
- If you're signing in to the correct location, but still can't remember your username and password, contact your admin.

Update the password on your mobile phone and desktop email program to match the new password for your account. How do I find my current Microsoft 365 password?
If you cannot get a code, read Troubleshooting verification code issues. If you're trying to sign in with your personal Microsoft account, but you're already signed in with your work or school account, you need to sign out and then sign in with the correct Microsoft account (or vice versa). You can only do this if your admin has given you permission to update your password in Microsoft 365. Get a verification code
This is typically the person with admin permissions who set up your Microsoft 365 account for you. If you're not an Microsoft 365 admin, ask your workplace technical support to give your account name to you. If not, select Reset password below, Microsoft support alternatives enter the username name for the account you're trying to reset, and select Next. For technical support, go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter your problem and select Get Help. If you still need help, select Contact Support to be routed to the best support option.
