As the first AAA release from developer Game Science, Black Myth: Wukong is an ambitious venture. Not only is the prospect of the studio's first AAA title exciting, but its source material offers plenty to be intrigued about. Based on the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West , Black Myth: Wukong is a retelling of the beloved story. There is a lot of hype surrounding Black Myth: Wukong , and the confirmed gameplay features that are set to appear in the game only make the anticipation that much grea
Maybe some stubborn people just don’t want to engage with the game’s RPG mechanics. Maybe they got used to hammering away at a fight until they perfected it and didn’t need to spend time grinding levels or tailoring their builds, and now they resent having to adapt to a fight rather than overcome it through sheer will. I don’t know, I’m just a tourist, but what I do know is that if you’re unhappy with Erdtree’s difficulty, you need to stay far away from Black Myth: Wuk
The recently launched pre-orders for Black Myth: Wukong show that there are four distinct versions of the game, the Standard Edition , Digital Deluxe Edition , Deluxe Edition , and Collector's Edition . Physical releases of Black Myth: Wukong are limited to the Deluxe and Collector's Editions, with the Standard and Digitial Deluxe Editions including digital-only pre-order bonuses that players will be able to download and claim in-game. Again, players should keep in mind that the physical Deluxe and Collector's Editions of Black Myth: Wukong will not include a disc and instead provide players with a digital download code, though both editions come with a slew of physical collectib
Black Myth: Wukong is set to bring an all-new Soulslike experience to gamers. As the game's August 20 release date draws closer, Black Myth: Wukong has a lot of potential to be a great addition to the genre that FromSoftware started. There is still an ample amount of mystery surrounding the game, but based on early footage and trailers, Black Myth: Wukong looks to have some thrilling gameplay mechan
I haven’t played Elden Ring, but I played two hours of Wukong earlier this month, and these long combos look very familiar. I took on four bosses during the preview and every one of them came at me with the same long strings of attacks that were difficult to read and almost impossible to dodge. Dodging early or late was almost certain death as the attacks just kept coming, and even when I managed to avoid the entire barrage, the opening to retaliate was much smaller than I would have liked. For most fights the cadence was: Boss lunges across the arena and makes five sweeping attacks at me, and if I perfectly avoid all of them, I’m allowed to respond with two light attacks, three at the m
One intriguing part of protagonist Wukong's personal arsenal is his staff. This is pulled directly from Journey to the West , as the hero Wukong wields a magical staff that can extend and shrink, making it an incredibly useful tool. Black Myth: Wukong embracing Ancient Chinese myth has given the game plenty of material to work with, and it will be fascinating to see how the game uses these bits of myth and legend, like Wukong's staff, as essential pieces in the gamep

Try as I might, I ended Gamescom 2023 without getting the chance to play its biggest game, which is a big shame, even if I’d only just started to show an interest in it. I still have no clue why Black Myth: Wukong was such a big deal, though. Maybe the epic Opening Night Live trailer resonated with others just as much as it did for me. Maybe the long queue times turned into something that people just had to see. Or maybe, https://Blackmythwukongfans.com just maybe, Gamescom, gamers, and the entire world are conspiring against me and I’m just not supposed to be happy or do anything I want, e
Again, I don’t go here, but I kinda thought the difficulty was the whole point. You’re supposed to struggle, fail, die, suffer, then push yourself to get back up and try again. When you finally succeed you’re meant to think about all the times you could have given up but didn’t, making the success that much sweeter. This is basic Souls psychology that Elden Ring players, who I assume must be approaching this DLC after having beaten the game, surely understand. So what’s the dilemma here? Is it really too hard to be
