Reviews for Cyberpunk 2077 have begun appearing online, and one common theme among them is the various bugs and glitches present in the game's current, pre-patch state. Despite the repeated delays, the game has still seemed rushed to reviewers, though it seems that some are less bothered by this than others. As expected, there will be a fairly large day one patch on all versions of the game to help sort out some of the issues encountered by reviewers and other early play

Coupled with updates and patches that are liable to come rolling in at launch and well after, these opinions may not be fully representative of the more free experience players will likely choose to have once it's in their hands. Players still on the fence about Cyberpunk 2077 after all this time may do well to wait a little while for its growing pains and technical issues to be ironed out, but the generally high praise should speak for itself for those raring to go as soon as possible on Thurs
However, the patch will not fix issues caused by incompatible settings on PC, as Döhla mentioned in yet another tweet that " it won‘t help if you‘re running the PC version with settings your PC can’t handle. Game has tons of options to find a matching configuration though ." Lastly, the dev closed out the impromptu Q&A with one last response to a question about the copies of Cyberpunk 2077 that reviewers got to play, stating, " It is a different game with console update, ye

"Cyberpunk 2077 is a paragon of open-world gaming, offering the kind of freedom to explore and define your character that provides a new pinnacle for the genre. It takes everything we celebrate about open-world games, and learns from it, implementing best-in-class variations in a world that's so dense and detailed. Add in the human-like level of reactivity and emotional depth that it brings to its narrative, and it all combines for the most spectacular experience. Take a trip to Night City immediatel
It's possible that CD Projekt Red has whipped up some sort of ARG in order to help promote the game. These are always entertaining and engaging advertising campaigns; Activision proved that earlier this year with an in-depth ARG to promote Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War . Activision went all-out on this project, mailing slide projectors to fans and giving them a cryptic website full of puzzles to solve, and even a copy of classic text adventure game Zork . These efforts certainly paid off for Activision and were well in line with the conspiracy-heavy setting of the game. Cybernight might be a similar project, perhaps giving fans the chance to participate in some sort of digital heist. Or maybe it's the name of a mission in the game, or a special event CD Projekt Red will be hosting on release
"Cyberpunk 2077 is dark and disturbing at times (frighteningly so), but the majority of its content is fascinating, and loaded with depth through the various RPG systems and lore. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t overstay its welcome with its critical-path story, and invites players to jack in and stay for hundreds of hours of unique content should they want to. It didn't blow me away like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but is still a hell of an opening to what will hopefully be a new seri
" We had those issues in Germany, too. It’s mainly streaming issues - when the settings are too high for your setup the game is unable to stream the content and stuff starts to go missing (animations, audio, lipsync, objects). Adjust settings and it works waaaay smoothe
Now that fans are in the most recent final stretch leading to the game's release, they're surely starting to get impatient. The official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account has taken to stoking these fans anticipation online. Earlier today the account published a brief voice clip, apparently from the protagonist of the game, informing listeners that she's received word of a big job coming up that she will need help with. This message certainly fits with the game's heavy themes of violence and crime , but the nature of this job, and the average Twitter follower's role in it, are unclear. Even more enigmatic is the "Cybernight" hashtag which has been appended to this transmiss
